Welcome to Village Academy
For over three decades, Village Academy Schools has offered students an opportunity to excel in their areas of greatest talent and to pursue areas of greatest interest. Personalized and individualized attention is a hallmark of the Village Academy program. Highly qualified teachers and staff help each student individually achieve their highest levels of success academically, athletically, socially, and culturally. Village Academy graduates are prepared for the scope of challenges presented in higher education and those associated with becoming a compassionate citizen of the world.

Admissions
Based on our belief that a blend of many cultural and socioeconomic groups enriches the entire school, we are an international school and seek to attract a diverse student body.
Our goal is to enroll students who will benefit from the programs offered at Village Academy Schools and who will contribute to the school community. In selecting students, we look for evidence of age-appropriate academic ability, motivation, and potential for personal growth in a cooperative environment. Village Academy seeks to enroll families who want to be with us for the duration of a student’s education, and thus try to enroll future alumni. Interviews involve the parents as well as the students as we wish to work collaboratively on all levels to insure the success of each student.
Academics
Village Academy Schools seek to educate college-bound students who not only wish to become self-fulfilled individuals but to function as responsible, compassionate citizens of the world.
Athletics
Athletic opportunities are varied and numerous at Village Academy. Participation in sports and physical education is an integral part of the curriculum. The athletic teams are comprised of students with a wide range of abilities, enabling the developing athlete, as well as the skilled athlete, to compete side by side. Both individual and team sports are offered, including but not limited to soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, golf, and cheerleading. Each is geared to learning basic skills and expanding individual abilities. Beginning in middle school, coeducational, intramural, and interscholastic opportunities are available. Lower school intramural programs are also in place beginning at the fourth grade level.
Arts
By nurturing and exploring the artist within each student, we are able to teach the basic concepts of design, as well as the various elements of art. Introducing the student to history, diverse cultures and customs, and the many disciplines of the visual arts, allows us to integrate hands-on technique while inspiring each individual’s creativity.
